Zunilda Ramos
Ms. Ramos is a partner at the Firm and has practiced law for eleven years concentrating primarily in business and bankruptcy litigation. She received her B.A. degree from the University of California at Berkeley. Ms. Ramos graduated from the University of California at Hastings College of the Law in 1992 and was admitted to the California Bar in the same year. She is an aggressive litigator who has represented defendants before juries in various counties throughout California. Ms. Ramos has handled all aspects of litigation in the areas of bankruptcy, business litigation, commercial unlawful detainers, public entity defense, subrogation, and premises liability. Ms. Ramos represented casualty defendants in two Superior Court jury trials and was able to obtain defense verdicts in both matters. (Medina v. Anabo, Alameda Superior Court Case No. H195423-4; Cakir v. Tascian, Santa Clara Superior Court Case No. 98-365556). Recently, she successfully defended her client in a two-week jury trial in Santa Clara Superior Court where damages in excess of $1,000,000 were sought. Ms. Ramos is a judge pro tem for the Alameda County Superior Court. Ms. Ramos also represents Chapter 7 bankruptcy trustees in bankruptcy litigation. She is a member of the Alameda County Bar Association, Bankruptcy Section and the Alameda County Women Lawyers Association. Ms. Ramos is fluent in Spanish.
