  Mariam S. Marshall    
Ms. Marshall is a partner at the Firm and has practiced law for twelve years concentrating primarily in bankruptcy litigation. Ms. Marshall graduated from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 1991 and was admitted to the California Bar in the same year. Ms. Marshall is admitted to pracice in the Northern, Eastern and Central Districts of California. Ms. Marshall was a recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award in Constitutional Law and the Wiley W. Manuel Award for Pro Bono Legal Services. She was an extern to the Honorable Randall J. Newsome, United States Bankruptcy Court, Oakland Division. She was an intern with the California Attorney General Licensing Section. Ms. Marshall was a bankruptcy associate at Kornfield, Paul & Bupp, LLP, before forming her own firm in 1994. She has extensive experience in representing Chapter 7 bankruptcy trustees and secured and unsecured creditors in all facets of bankruptcy litigation including trials, law and motion, appeals and mediation. Ms. Marshall has experience in all aspects of state court civil litigation. She is a member of the Alameda County and San Francisco Bar Associations, Commercial Law and Bankruptcy Section and the Bay Area Bankruptcy Forum, the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees. Ms. Marshall is a frequent speaker on bankruptcy and creditors rights issues.
